| The
original charter for the Laborers' Local 561
was signed May 18, 1936. And after 70 years
we are stepping into a new era of labor; while
still keeping in sight our mission of uniting,
in one common brotherhood, to protect our
rights and improve our lifestyle by becoming
a union of skilled laborers. We have maintained
the region’s largest laborer’s local union
and currently have over 1800 members. |
